Kajol Takes A Break From Social Media, Writes, “Facing One Of The Toughest Trials Of My Life”

New Delhi: Kajol, on Friday afternoon, announced that she is taking a break from social media. The actress has deleted all her existing posts from Instagram, while her Twitter profile still has previous posts. Without sharing much details, Kajol wrote this in her latest Instagram as well as Twitter entry, “Facing one of the toughest trials of my life.” She captioned it, “Taking a break from social media.” While the actress hasn’t revealed the reason for removing all her posts, the Internet flooded her post with comments like “Sending you so much love” and “Please take care.” Another comment read, “Hope you’re doing fine, take your time.” A third added, “Sending you all my love. Take your time. We will be here.”
In terms of work, Kajol was last seen in Salaam Venky, co-starring Vishal Jethwa and Aamir Khan (in a cameo appearance). The film was directed by Revathy and it released last year. The actress will next be seen in Netflix’s anthology film Lust Stories 2. Kajol is best-known for performances in hits as well critically acclaimed films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…, Baazigar, Gupt, Dushman, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, My Name Is Khan, to name a few.
In the recent years, the actress has starred in the National Award winning Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, co-starring husband Ajay Devgn and actor Saif Ali Khan. She also featured in the Netflix film Tribhanga, which marked her digital debut. Produced by Ajay Devgn, Tribhanga was directed by Renuka Sahane and it also starred Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar.
