CBSE Class 10 Exam Timetable Announced
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the date sheet for the Class 10 Board Exams in 2025. Students can gear up for their exams starting from February 15, 2025, when English, one of the core subjects, marks the beginning of the examination period. By March 18, 2025, students would have tackled various key subjects, including Science, Social Science, Hindi, and Mathematics.
The update, made public on November 21, 2024, also highlights that practical exams were strategically scheduled ahead, running from November 5 to December 5, 2024. This preemptive planning by CBSE not only ensures a smooth process but provides adequate time for students to focus on both practical and theoretical aspects of their curriculum.

Thoughtful Scheduling and Exam Day Protocols
One of the notable achievements in designing the Class 10 exam schedule was the board's ability to manage over 40,000 potential subject combinations without any timing clashes, all while allowing fair study intervals. This meticulous approach highlights CBSE's commitment to minimizing stress and optimizing performance among the young test-takers.
The board has also laid out a set of well-defined guidelines for the exam days themselves. Students need to be vigilant about their arrival times, the distribution protocol for answer booklets, and a list of prohibited items. This ensures that every examinee is adhering to the standardized process for fairness and transparency. It’s crucial for students and parents to go through these guidelines to avoid any last-minute hitches.
Reflecting on previous performance, the 2024 board exam witnessed a commendable pass rate of 93.60%, with more than 2.2 million students successfully getting through. This sets a high standard and added motivation for the cohort set to appear in 2025. As the countdown to the examination begins, schools, educators, and families alike are all working in tandem to support students in their journey towards academic success.
