TIRUCHY: Makkal Needhi Maiam chief on Monday unveiled an alleged list of bribes which is collected in various government offices across the state.
Kamal Haasan, who is campaigning for the 2021 state assembly elections, conducted a roadshow in various parts of the city on Sunday as part of his third phase. Speaking to reporters on Monday morning the MNM leader said, “In the 50-year Dravidian rule in the state, we have reaped more bad things than good. Makkal Needhi Maiam is also a Dravidian party. Whoever speaks Tamil are Dravidians.”
He also added that the MNM governance will be built around honesty.
During the press meet, the actor-turned-politician also unveiled the alleged bribery list. The list included bribery rates collected for various services provided by the government.
For a question asked by the reporters whether Kamal Haasan would be the CM candidate if a third front is formed, MNM’s party General secretary M Muruganatham interrupted and said, “If a third alliance is formed with any parties in the state, Kamal Haasan will be the CM candidate of it.”
