TN CM to visit Tirunelveli 7 August
Chennai: Tamilnadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami will hold a review meeting with three District Collectors at the Tirunelveli Collector Office on 7 August.
Sources said that the preventive measures taken to control the spread of coronavirus and further course of action will be discussed during the meeting.
Palaniswami will also inaugurate the bridge built across Thamirabarani river at Kokkirakulam.
It may be noted that during the recent Collectors’ meeting via video conferencing, he gave a slew of directions to ramp up infrastructure, both for testing and health care.
During the meeting, Palaniswami said that his government took several measures for industrial growth and signed 41 memorandums of understanding with the investors during a pandemic. “The State bagged investments worth Rs 30,500 crore that would generate 67,200 jobs,” he said.
He had also said earlier that he would visit districts to personally supervise welfare projects.
