Man stabs ex-girlfriend to death a day after she filed complaint against him
According to police, a day before the woman was allegedly murdered, she had filed a complaint against her partner at a police station in Goa after the couple allegedly had a fight.
Police on Friday arrested a 22-year-old man for allegedly stabbing to death his former girlfriend after she had allegedly ended their relationship and rejected him recently. Police said the accused drove in a car to a mountain pass in Maharashtra — about 80 kms from the scene of crime in Goa — and dumped her dead body at Amboli Ghat, in a bid to evade arrest.

Goa Police only registered a non-cognizable report (NCR) and the man was let off with a warning, said a police official.
The deceased has been identified as Kamakshi Uddapnov (30), who had been working as a sales associate at a boutique in Goa.
Police said the decomposed body has been sent to Goa Medical College in Bambolim for a post-mortem. Police have added Section 302 (murder) and Section 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence) of IPC to the FIR.
