Akasa Air, the burgeoning low-cost airline, is poised to embark on its maiden international venture next month, unveiling Doha as its inaugural destination. The airline intends to operate four non-stop flights weekly, linking Mumbai with Doha, commencing operations from March 28, 2024.

Flight reservations for the highly anticipated route are now accessible via Akasa Air’s official website. Furthermore, passengers can secure their tickets through various prominent online travel agencies (OTAs), with return fares commencing at Rs 29,012.

Vinay Dube, the esteemed Founder and CEO of Akasa Air, expressed his elation regarding the airline’s foray into the international arena, emphasizing Doha’s significance as the first stop in its expanding network. He emphasized that the direct Mumbai-Doha connection, a pivotal Indian commercial hub, will cater to a diverse spectrum of travelers, fostering tourism, commerce, and fortifying bilateral relations between the two nations.

Dube remarked, “Akasa is built on a foundation of unwavering reliability, service excellence, and the utmost safety standards upheld in global aviation. Our exponential growth since inception underscores the immense potential of the Indian aviation sector.”

He further elaborated, “Our entry into Qatar signals the dawn of a new chapter in our journey, as we strive towards cementing our position among the world’s top 30 airlines by the end of this decade.
