Mumbai Airport Cocaine Bust: Thai National Apprehended with ₹40 Crore Worth of Drugs

In a significant operation orchestrated by the Directorate of Revenue (DRI), a 21-year-old Thai national faced apprehension at Mumbai Airport on charges of cocaine trafficking. Acting on reliable information, the DRI detained the woman upon her arrival from Addis Ababa.

Despite an initial unremarkable examination, a meticulous search of her trolley bag revealed multiple packets containing a white powder-like substance. Subsequent testing confirmed the substance as cocaine, with an estimated international market value of an astounding 40 crore.
